How To Use The Cut List Template
STEP 1. DOWNLOAD CUT TEMPLATE
Let’s begin! First you will need to download the Cut Template CSV file. Simply click the 'Download' button below.

Diagram 1.0 displays how our cutting and edging machinery will read your given specifications. Please follow this diagram when providing us with your fabrication requirements.
Diagram 2.0 displays the grain direction following the length of the piece.
STEP 2. COMPLETING THE CUT LIST FORM
The diagram above displays how our cutting and edging machinery will read your given specifications. Please follow this diagram when providing us with your fabrication requirements.
ITEM NAME – A description of the product produced eg; Door / Panels for Facia, Ends, Top / Bottom Rail or all Carcass Panels.
QUANTITY – The number of pieces for the above item.
LENGTH – The length in millimeters from left to right (see diagram 1.0 above).
WIDTH – The width in millimeters from top to bottom (see diagram 1.0 above).
THICKNESS – The thickness of the piece in millimeters.
PRODUCT – What product is the item to be made from.
GRAIN DIRECTION – The grain of the material (Veneer, Plywood etc) will always run the length of the board. If grain direction is required, enter a 'Y' for Yes or 'N' for No into this field. 'No' meaning we can rotate the panel to optimise the most out of a sheet (See diagram 2.0 for grain direction example).
EDGE 1 LONG (E1L) – Please specify the primary, longer edge of the material piece. Please enter as “0.5mm Veneer” or “2mm Multi Layer Veneer” or “1mm ABS” or “2mm ABS”.
EDGE 1 SHORT (E1S) – Please specify the primary, shorter edge of the material piece. Please enter as “0.5mm Veneer” or “2mm Multi Layer Veneer” or “1mm ABS” or “2mm ABS”.
EDGE 1 LONG 2 SHORT (E1L2S) – Please specify the one longer edge and two shorter edges of the material piece. Please enter as “0.5mm Veneer” or “2mm Multi Layer Veneer” or “1mm ABS” or “2mm ABS”.
EDGED All Round (EAR) – Please specify all edges of the finished material piece, including edging. Please enter as “0.5mm Veneer” or “2mm Multi Layer Veneer” or “1mm ABS” or “2mm ABS”.
COMMENTS – Please add additional comments here. For example - Hinge holes from top and bottom of door, or if ends need shelf holes.
* Please note the following:
- All edging will be matching in colour to the board specified.
- 2mm Multi Layer Veneer edging comes in a limited amount of veneer colours.
- All sizes to be finished sizes.
